Audiobulb’s ‘Favourite Places’ series brings together field and compositional recordings depicting the essence of places of personal importance and significance within the lives of contemporary artists. The second instalment witnesses sounds emerging from city streetscapes, deserted factories, isolated countryside, and a homely bedroom.
The aim has been to enable a creative interaction between external and internal realities, with the hope that the pieces will inspire the audience to become increasingly active listeners whilst experiencing their own favourite places.
The artists invited to contribute to the new volume of ‘Favourite Places’ are Lawrence English, Yannick Franck, Michael Santos, Icarus, Sawako, Jeremy Bible, Autistici, Calika, Michael Trommer, and He Can Jog.
