Street Bass Anthems Volume 4 EP (incl. 6Blocc remix)

Preview EP of the heat coming on the ‘Street Bass Anthems Volume 4’ mixtape, Street Bass being the term coined by Starkey and Dev79 to describe their unique interpretation of bass heavy urban music. A side features Starkey’s ‘Starkvillain’ in vocal and (exclusive) instrumental versions, an upbeat and pumping cut in a 2step-meets-bmore vein but with a fresh slant. Fire is the only commodity that the Starkbot trades in, so rest assured that this latest slab of club music is nothing but flames.

The flipside leads off with the 6Blocc remix of Pacheko‘s ‘Lockdown’, turning out a 4x4 vs dubstep hybrid with reggae vocals rocking the vibe. Both moody and clubby at the same time, this tune represents hotness for a variety of crowds. Finally, San Francisco‘s Dnae Beats comes with ‘Razur Kut’, straddling the line between sludgy hip hop and booming dancefloor fare, with an infectious R&B twist that shares similar viral DNA with Rustie’s slinky-funk sound.
