Artists Cannibals Poets Thieves
Sees the band working as a 3 piece, with Guitar, vocals, Hammond Organ, synthesizers, drums and electronic basslines and beats, capturing the bands influences to a greater degree.
Six By Seven have created an album filled with menace and unrest, which at times is subtle, urgent and claustrophobic and at other times a sprawling psychedelic stampede- always exciting and often unpredictable Simple really!
" Well I'm Chaos baby you gotta hand it to me"
This is their sixth release on Saturday Night Sunday Morning Records and was recorded in one session over a four month period and produced and engineered by the band at their own studio 'The Peveril Hotel'.
They regard this as the first real release as a three piece, without a bass guitar or bass overdubs.
This record takes you on a rollercoaster ride of expansive sounds, heavily
influenced by Spacemen 3, Loop, Nine Inch Nails, The Pixies, Suicide, The Cure,
Ulrich Schnauss and even Kraftwerk!
" Can't find a place to call my own, can't find a place where I can go"
Packaged in a black slipcase with florescent text, it contains a 12 page booklet complete with lyrics and photographs by renowned Melody Maker photographer Phil
Nicholls
"Artists, Cannibals, Poets, Thieves" official release date is 6th June, and
will be available in all good record shops.
The band will also be doing two low key gigs to promote the release:
15th June Brixton Windmill
16th June The Elbow Room Islington
