2000 Deluxe Edition

After appearing on two of rap’s more accomplished and entertaining releases - Brand Nubian’s 1990 debut ‘One For All’ and 1992 solo effort ‘Reel To Reel’ - Grand Puba took a short leave of absence, resurfacing three years later with this long-overdue second solo work. Puba carried those first two records on the inventiveness of his rhyme style, and on ‘2000’ he recaptured all of that and sounded like he’d never been away.

This deluxe extended edition includes his hit single ‘I Like It (I Wanna Be Where You Are)’ plus bonus versions, remixes and acapellas previously never available on CD format. Production from the era’s best: Buckwild (D.I.T.C.), Mark Sparks Minnesota, DJ Alamo, Dante Ross and Stud Doogie, as well a feature from fellow Nubian Sadat X.
