Originally planned as a mini-release with Sweet Nothing, the Killers decided to bolster the 6 brand new studio tracks with 4 live tracks, two of which are the new line up peel session versions of earlier songs 'Said I'd find my way' andf 'Let's get Killed'. There's also (as an album closer) a stunning version of Skip James' 'Devil got my Woman'.

The new studio recordings see the band working with producer Lynn Bridges (Hellacopters / Quadrajets / Tim Kerr and legendary muscle shoals producer Jimmy Johnson) Lynn has single-handedly captured the raw power if ILCK on true studio fidelity, no mean task considering all the ILCK records, from their two full length albums to a slew of 7" singles, have all been home recorded !
