Soundboy's Gravestone Remixes

Incredibly limited double vinyl remix package on unmarked and unlabelled grey marbled wax, containing five exclusive refixes from the full-length CD collection.

The T++ remix of Appleblim's 'Vansan' is one of his finest metallic steppers variations to date, utilising that glass cut percussive palette that has defined much of his recent material, into which he entwines a recognisable snippet of the original and reshapes it in his future dub-techXhardcore motor style to devastate dedicated minds and floors everywhere.

Bass Clef's remix of Appleblim and Peverelist's 'Circling' sharpens the traces of 2-Step embedded with the original version and manages to keep his fiddly tricks to a minimum, making for a sleek and highly floor friendly revision. Geiom's remix of Shackleton’s 'The Branch Is Weak' is another successful effort, flipping it from a deathly dirge into a spooked electro dubber, while DJ Rupture re-edits 'In The Void' to give it a kind of Post Rock slant.

The biggest surprise of all however, would have to be the stunning Badawi remix occupying the entire D-side. Raz Mesinai tackles one of Shackleton's most shocking tracks 'The Rope Tightens' and sticks with the original's extended format, but with a technofied and meditative version that sounds like Monolake mixed with Peter Rehberg's frosty scapes.
The depth and scope on this one can only be fully appreciated at home on a good system with all the lights out, or equally in a dark warehouse setting, this is riddimic futurism at it's finest. Fans of f**king dark and killer dance music, invest!
