Number 1 Hi-Fi Hair

Released on truck records ( Goldrush ), the band have a new publishing deal with Mute Song which has seen high levels of interest among various TV production companies ( the new series of teachers is scattered with many fonda 500 songs ). As ever, the album is none generic, but hangs together beautifully as a coherent listen.

The tunes include huge chugging bastards, pastoral symphonies, Japanese counting songs, eighties cheese, spacehopper wigouts,gorgeous 'pale blue eyes' type things and instrumental passages that would be the ideal accompaniment to adverts for feminine hygiene products.the band have been compared to the Beach Boys, the SFA's and Stereolab.
