Long awaited third full length from Drunk Horse, Following the demise of their former label Man's Ruin, Drunk Horse took a short break, then toured, toured some more, and then decided to write some more songs !

Once again they worked on their new recordings with Tim Green (Fucking Champs / Nation of Ulysses) in San Francisco. The resultant slab of rock takes it's cues from a wide range of influences. There's the greasy boogie of early ZZ Top, melded to the blues skronk of Beefheart's Magic Band and tempered with the jazz inflections of the Zappa's Mother of Invention and the heaviosity of Blue Cheer. This is Drunk Horse's finest record to date, 9 songs of loose yet taut 70's flavoured rock, with an emphasis on the rock. There's also jazzy almost classical chord progressions, and the lyricism is as wry as any. Songs like 'Fried Chicken Cadillac', 'One Dollar Records' and 'Lube Job' display the band at their best.
