Benedictum are back with a brand new album that is the follow"up to the 2006 debut

The band were formed in San Diego and combine awesome riffing, fierce rhythms and one of the most extraordinary voices in Metal, courtesy of Veronica Freeman, whose pipes have to be heard to be believed. Benedictum came to the attention of Dio guitarist Craig Goldy and he was impressed by what he heard and turned the band on to Jeff Pilson (Dokken / Dio) who produced the debut.

"Seasons Of Tragedy" features 10 brand new songs that encapsulate prime time Dio era Sabbath and Rainbow with the bands trademark sound as well as a storming cover version of the Accept classic "Balls To The Wall" (complete with Dokken guitar genius George Lynch and bass player Jeff Pilson). Manni Schmidt (Gravedigger) makes a guitar appearance and Craig Goldy appears on an acoustic version of the Rainbow song "Catch The Rainbow". "Seasons Of Tragedy" will be a (very early) contender for Metal album on 2008.
