'13' is the original vocal version of the instrumental title track of their acclaimed debut album 'The World Has Gone', with vocals provided by the inimitable Cat Power.

The epic rises and falls of the original blend satisfyingly with Chan Marshall's peerless voice, and the record represents an apt footnote to a particular period of creativity for a band with plenty more up their sleeves. First released late last year and only available through one world-renowned online store, copies sold out in days and that seemed to be that. However, never ones to burn their boats, VP held back a secret stash, and that fat stack now resides in sunny SW6. As usual, soporific dithering is ill-advised, while decisive ordering action is high on our list of recommendations.
