Featuring tracks from cutting-edge songwriters already creating a stir this side of the pond: Milk Kan whose single Bling Bling Baby shot to no. 12 in the indie chart with the support of Lamacq and Moyles, Filthy Pedro whose single Rock'N' Roll Points featured on Chanel 4's Transmission and Mathew Sawyer & The Ghosts who recently played Jarvis Cocker's Meltdown Festival.

Further groove credibility comes from The Rebel (of The Country Teasers, In The Red Records) and Dundalk's punk preacher Jinx Lennon (Septic Tiger Records). Mixed in with other exciting emerging artists such as the dark and avant-garde David Cronenberg's Wife (recently signed to Blang Records) this is compulsory listening from start to finish! The CD was compiled, designed, published and funded by members of the antifolk community; the DIY nature and anarchic spirit of the scene bears similarities with early punk and the zine explosion. There is clearly a folk revival in the UK and Antifolk is at its cutting edge; antifolk is not anti-folk, it is folk music without rules or boundaries.
