Nightsong (Part A) / Nightsong (Part B)

Rather than provide us with the requested two tracks for this release, Sian Alice Group instead opted to split Nightsong over two sides.

Side A features the vocal section of the track, while side B is instrumental and was made from improvised and layered first takes. Both sides together provide a sweeping track that moves from pop melodies to improvised noise, perfectly encompasing the variety of musical styles the band embodies. Nightsong was produced and engineered by Rupert Clervaux at the band's central London studio. By recording, rehearsing and songwriting under one roof Sian Alice Group are able to enjoy complete self-sufficiency, enabling them to freely follow whichever musical inclination they so desire.
