So, we've got the scuzziest, roughest sounding , raw as hell garage punk from The Real Losers (UK...produced by Gary And Ryan Jarman of The Cribs), noisy female fronted punk pop from Savage Lucy (USA) more female fronted punk from The Nasties (Italy) Spookey (Japan) Bazooka Boppers (Norway) The Boonaraaas (Germany) The Unlovables (USA) Belly Button (Japan) Anna And The Psychomen (Italy) The Stuck Ups (USA) and Candy Panic Attack (UK) In addition to all that, there's noisy indie pop from Pop Threat (UK) Downdime (UK) Jen Schande (USA) and The Silver Rockets (UK)
Also featured on this CD are the 2 debut recordings by The Cribs. These are early versions of the tracks "Baby Don't Sweat" and "You And I" which were later re-recorded for their debut album. The versions here were recorded by The Cribs themselves and originally featured on the "Squirrel Number 3" split 7" in 2003 which is now long deleted, out of print and fetches up to £40 on ebay and in collector's shops. A further curiosity for Cribs completists on this CD is the inclusion of the track "Revolution, Evolution" by female fronted punk band Kavolchy which features Gary from The Cribs on drums and production duty.
