Deep from the Indiana-farmland Dead Meadow brings us their lush second release. "Howls From the Hills" in freshly detailed and remastered form.

The catalog revisit of this seminal guitar-driven band forces us to connect the dots of recent musical history. All three releases will include updated artwork and photos and will be handled by New York label Xemu Records www.xemu.com in partnership with the band.

The second release in the 3-part reissue series is the 2001 "Howls From the Hills". Recorded in a boomy barn in Indiana the sound becomes fuller without being overcomplicated. Live, organic essence and encompassing ambient guitar played in psych-funk sludge, sparse blues-folk ballads to distorted barbiturate space-rock Dead Meadow becomes its own.

Remastered from the original tapes by Greg Calbi of Sterling Sound who has worked with the likes of John Lennon and Led Zeppelin the release with will ship with a bonus enhanced video of a period 2001performance.

Out -of-print since 2003 and highly sought after by fans, original pressings have fetched top dollar on internet auctions. Newly remastered from the original tapes with bonus enhancedvideo of a Dead Meadow performance filmed during the making of "Howls From The Hills"
