The Jorn trademark is passionate and strong vocals ala David Coverdale meets Ronnie James Dio and classic guitar-oriented Hard Rock. "Unlocking the Past" is Jorn's tribute to the Hard Rock and Metal giants that influenced and forged his vocal abilities. Among the bands covered are Deep Purple ('Burn' and 'Perfect Strangers'), Rainbow ('Kill The King'), Black Sabbath ('Lonely Is The Word'), Kiss ('Naked City'), Michael Schenker Group ('On & On'), Thin Lizzy (a storming version of the classic 'Cold Sweat'), Whitesnake ('Fool For Your Loving) as well as his favourite songs by Bad Company and City Boy. The album features performances by Ronnie Le Tekro (TNT), Ralph Santolla, John Macaluso (Westworld), Morty Black (TNT) and Dona Airey (Rainbow / Deep Purple)
