681 At The Southbank + Plays, Salutes Executes

The first eight tracks of this cd were recorded live at the Southbank centre in London where Terry Edwards & the scapegoats opened an evening of music chosen by John Peel.

The other acts were surf-guitar maestro Dick Dale, and The Fall. On this night the Scapegoats were long-term band-member Jem Moore and Madness drummer Woody Woodgate. The live set is complemented by remasters of Edwards' first three Ã…"solo' releases - Terry Edwards plays the music of Jim & William Reid, salutes the magic of The Fall and executes Miles Davis numbers. The Fall covers feature an all-star ska band including Bedders and Chrissy-boy from Madness. Prior to this release these 4-track eps, originally released on vinyl, had been unavailable on cd since 1996.
