Ninth and final edition in Expanding's EVS series of limited 7-inches.

Maps + Diagrams is Tim Martin, raised on a late 70's diet of Kraftwerk, Talking Heads and punk, later developing a taste for electro and hip hop. When he got his hands on a clapped out keyboard in the early 90s, he soon found the sounds he imagined when he was younger and his childhood memories came flooding back. Typically, he creates simple melodies that bounce off each other, not distracted by over-production, with an emphasis on the percussion and underlying sounds that carry the music deeper. As well as the Maps and Diagrams album 'Polytuft - Tech' on Expanding, Tim has also released music for Neo Ouija, Static Caravan, Tundra and Endorphin, and he runs his own label, Cactus Island. 400 copies only on thick translucent orange vinyl in screenprinted heavy-duty ziplock pvc bag.
