And so Billy Pollard returns with what's touted as his first fully-fledged album, taking the narrative through all manner of mental excursions, gabba touches, pop flicks, dancehall ragga pop and whatever else comes into his messed-up mind. There's also a manic big-up to the hardcore djs and mix cassettes of his teen years with the albums vividly destructive closer "hardcore 94 - tearing away from the deviant heartbreak thread that runs through the rest of the album.
