Dekmantel Anniversary Series EP Part 1

First part (of five) of the Dekmantel Anniversary EP series featuring two house tracks from Juju & Jordash and Morphosis. To celebrate Dekmantel’s five years in business, the Amsterdam label will release a compilation which features tracks from friends and artists who have performed at the successful Dekmantel parties.

In a series of five 12”s the label presents the genres that they have become known for throughout The Netherlands and beyond: quality house and techno in the tradition off all the good that came out of Detroit and Chicago. Both Dutch and international producers are featured on this comprehensive collection. The Israeli duo Juju and Jordash have been longtime protégés of the Dekmantel crew.

‘African Flower’ yet again proves why these two guys are among the label’s favorites, with an almost ten minute long piece of advanced electronic music. On the flip, Morphosis delivers a nine-minute monster with ‘Impulse’. The Lebanese producer keeps it strictly analogue, as always, and embarks upon a trip with crackling hi-hats and a creepy organ-jam. Pure quality underground house.
