In 2010 Cold Mailman took their first steps into the public consciousness from Oslo’s musical underground, where for a few years now they’ve impressed with their melancholy, intelligent and expertly played indiepop.

Cold Mailman got wind in their sails after Stereogum, one of the biggest indie blogs in the US, picked up on their single Pull yourself together and fall in love with me. Shortly after, the French magazine magicrpm.com put on their top ten singles of 2010 list. Their new album, "Relax; the mountain will come to you" is an exceptional case study in modern Norwegian pop interchanging between the grandiose and the introspective, but always delivered with a lyrical precision that all too often eludes Norwegian acts when singing in English.
