Very very limited ep, we are getting 100 copies only of the 300 for retail worldwide. It includes the new allo Darlin song Tallulah which is without any doubt their best song yet. The cream of the international indie scene have recorded exclusive acoustic tracks for London club The Hangover Lounge’s first release, a 6-track 10” ep.
Allo Darlin’ have saved their best song, Tallulah, for this record, an ode to old friends and The Go-Betweens; Alasdair Mclean from The Clientele and Lupe from Pipas debut their new band, Amor de Dias; Kent mod legends The Claim rekindle their intense flames; Hacia Dos Veranos bring original Latin American rhythms to their Felt and Love inspirations; The Motifs confirm their position as purveyors of the sweetest pop jingles; and The Middle Ones are what The Marine Girls would sound like on Sesame Street.
All that and Pam Berry of Black Tambourine has hand-made the sleeve. The Hangover Lounge www.hangoverlounge.blogspot.com is a weekly London club that plays the perfect music to calm your minds after a hard Saturday night's drinking and stave off the dread of the week ahead.
All of the bands on this ep have played acoustic sets at the club.
