"As Eyes Burn Clean" is pure Cleveland; heavy, rocking and straight out of left field. Terminal Lovers fuse kraut, dub, improv, drone, and pop influences to create a sound that is dense, diverse, and difficult to pin down, yet it all feels fluid and effortless. They've been called "Can-meets-Pere Ubu"(Freak Emporium), "kind of avant garde, kind of loud and ugly, and kind of poppy all at once" (Utter Trash) and "a delightful amalgam of LAST-period Agitation Free and ZOSO-period Zeppelin that transcends both the heavy rock and Krautrock that informed it"(Julian Cope).

As Eyes Burn Clean is a visceral, guitar-heavy trek filled with pop hooks, spaced out psychedelia, and surreal, Jodorowsky-esque lyrics. Lead by guitarist/vocalist, Dave Cintron , Terminal Lovers features a cast of veteran Cleveland players including Chris Smith (Keelhaul, Integrity) on guitar, Jamie Walters (Midnight, Boulder, Destructor) on bass and the dual drum/percussion assault of Brent Gemmill (Lung) and Bob Zeiger (Midnight, Darvocets).

Terminal Lovers have appeared live on the WFMU and have shared the stage with The Psychic Paramount, Dead Meadow, Jackie-O-Motherfucker, RTX, Unsane, White Hills, Avarus, Gunslingers, Birds of Avalon, and countless others.
