2nd Coming
It features the legendary Ced Gee from the Ultramagnetic MC's rhyming over a blazing track called 'The illest'. The LP also features Grafiq, the newest member to the Ultra group who has now reformed and changed their name to "The Factshen".
This is what Ultra had to say!!
"This is crazy, yal an Ced did ya thing, this going to big on the mix cd's, We need to do a part 2 an let me rip it. Just think about it Grafiq malachi Sebek, Ced-Gee, Blak Prophetz its killa Aight!!
Grafiq Sebek (Ultramagnetic's Factshen)
As you can see there's also the Part 2 in the pipeline which I believe will be a massive globally released 12 inch, obviously exclusively distributed via Cargo for the UK.
On the '2nd Coming' Lp you can also hear the magnificent DJ Tony Tone from the legendary Cold Crush Brothers. Rumour has it that the Cold Crush Brothers will be in the studio recording with the Blak ProphetZ mid July when they come over to tour DJaying. In order to find out more info on this you'll need to go to the FJ's website.
The track called "What is Rap" that features DJ Tony Tone is a blazer! A true historical view of the history of rap performed by Sure Shot (Producer). The track is a definite floor filler and no matter what skool era you are from you have to appreciate the rhyming skills of both Sure Shot & Retro who has proved that they are a jack of all styles and a master of all.
The Blak ProphetZ has proven that they have what it takes to deliver a high quality Hip Hop album. Something that's hard to find nowadays. They have clearly demonstrated that there's more to Hip Hop instead of latching on or trying copy your Mob Deep's or Wu Tang's or bling and crime raps. They are individuals who have proven that they have what it takes to make good melodic, true well produced high quality Hip Hop music.
To conclude the LP is a must in everyone's collection. To prove my point I urge you to listen to a few tracks from their website. They have been compared to Gangstarr, Main Source, Company Flow and many others. See and hear for yourself, you'd be crazy not to buy this CD as a matter of fact, I believe that The Blak ProphetZ are slowly becoming and institution in the Hip hop culture. Keep watching these guys
