Captains Of Industry

The Captains are a number of musicians, writers, artists, film-makers and fans, bored of the same disparaging conversations about the state of music and the arts. The music business is in turmoil, and that's how we like it. The Collective welcomes any artists - regardless of style - who feel they adhere to this ethos. Cynicism is played out. From idealism, naiveté and romanticism the best art will flourish.

The bigger picture: its no secret that private monopolies, aided by government deregulation, are owning and controlling more and more of our access to information, entertainment and art. We believe its a process that threatens the quality of our media as well as democracy and justice. This is our effort to reclaim the airwaves, recording rights and print pages around the world.
Its also a method by which art can be recorded / produced / published without compromise for profit. Details of forthcoming Captains Of Industry film, book and music projects will be posted shortly.
The world is a stage and we all own it.
