Dancing Wayang

Wayang, means 'puppet' in indonesian. puppets have a long tradition in javanese and balinese theatre, initially spreading hinduist religious beliefs. When islam arrived, it became forbidden to depict god in human form so the traditional puppet plays changed into shadow puppet plays. The wayang kulit are the shadow puppets, which inspired the labels name and logo.
