Highpoint Lowlife

A few years back in the near mythical town of San Francisco, there existed a modest weekly club called :node. It wasn't a popular club by any stretch of the imagination, but it seemed to be doing something right, as the two lads running it watched the crowd grow steadily each week, attracting a sizable selection of the city's more musically adventurous indie kids, enticed by the open music policy of new and innovative sounds, the cross pollination of bedroom electronics and guitars. People danced, ideas were forged, friends were made, and shortly thereafter an idea was hatched, to start a label based on a similar musical aesthetic.

The label finally settled in London, UK, as its new home, where it began to cut a small niche for itself with its growing catalogue of releases. The sound of the label's output ranges from the sprawling ambience of The Village Orchestra, to the feral rock of Fuck-off Machete; from the detuned electronic indie-pop of Like A Stuntman, to the hyperactive beat mechanics of randomNumber, and anything that might be found in between and beyond...
