Wrong Music
It was founded by Shige Isihara (Dj Scotch Egg), Matt Lambert (Roger Species), and Ben Hudson (Ebola/ Chezny Hawkes) and over the past couple of years has hosted bunch of wonderfully obscure acts. Ranging from ultra high tech spazcore breaks to low-fi noise, from breakcore to midi-kareoke, Wrong Music has seen everything from root vegetable wielding farmers playing ragga jungle to a very special adaptation of the nativity play.
With Henry Collins (Shitmat) joining the fray in december 2003, the Wrong Music crew began compiling and releasing the now famous, rare, revered (and feared) "Now thats what I call Wrong Music" CD-R series.
In the five volumes featured artists such as Sickboy, Samantha Chisman, Duran Duran Duran, Chezny Hawkes, Bunglegushcore, Andrew Lloyd Webber's Retard Crack Dealer and many more.

The Wrong music Crew has hosted an event at the Hayward Gallery, represented Wrong Music on the 'Keep it Peel' event live on radio 1 and in 2004 embarked on an absolutely crazy 3 week tour of japan. More recently the crew took on Saturday afternoon at the Glade Festival, and Radio slots on Resonance F.M.

Wrong Music are also involved in running two sub-labels, the first, Countryside Alliance Records, are endorsing and releasing music from the growing Countryside scene. Their first official release, Rural Takeover Vol. 1 will be out later this year, featuring the infamous "Cattle Market Massive".
The Second spin-off is the Complaints Department, to deal with the arse end of the wrongest side of what was already pretty wrong.
So far releasing 88 twenty minute mini cds, ambitions are high but quality control is low. Each release being sold at a price reflecting its content, they are highly collectible but also disposable and in limited editions.
