Sleezy Rock n rollers from Sheffield, like Zeppelin in a knife fight with Sabbath.

Carved from the same Rock as Stonehenge, Future eX Wife have been hammering wire against wood since early 2003. Formed in Sheffield, these blistering spastic-blues belters have released three independent releases in under a year
Future Ex Wife are a band who have little respect for compromise and acceptance, welding huge John Bonham beats to a guitar sound thicker than syrup, with riffs that tumble like Anvils down an up escalator. Like Soundgarden choreographing multi-car pile-ups on the Motorway to Hell.

They debuted with mini-album 'Miss September' in Oct 2003, which received critical acclaim in Kerrang! Time Out, Metal Hammer, Blender, Rock Sound, Playlouder, Drowned In Sound and many more UK publications, with the band featured in the top 5 of numerous end of year polls (writers and readers). One of the tracks, Ebony from "Miss September", is included on PSB 3, through Small Town America (Jetplane Landing'a label) released in April 2004. They also released a limited edition live album "Let there be Wife" on Valentines day 2004, through the Loose lips Sinks Ships magazine/label, recorded on the bands gruelling tour of the UK with both Minus, the SuperSuckers and their own headline shows throughout Jan/Feb 2004.
The last offering "While Your Husbands Away" was a tardis of a record - looks small, sounds massive, smells great. "While Your Husbands Away" has spawned the revolutionary new format, the "micro-album". Within is five songs carved from granite, dusted in glitter and doused in petrol. Think Sabbath / Soundgarden / Shellac. And feel it!
